The proposed system includes an application server that will perform the calculation function of converting the user desired sewing pattern into the sewing path and the stitch coordinates that can be fed into the sewing machine. By the cloud computing server, multiple users can share the sewing path data and modify the existing sewing path in the real-time manner. This provides a new way to solve the problem with no communication between designer and user and offer a creative way to enhance the functionality of the broidery machine.

In order to change the conventional way to the designing process, this study proposes a naive system for designer and user to able to work together in the real-time manner. Two new operation functions are proposed by this paper that can be added into the automatic sewing machine: 1) The sewing machine can access server database to obtain unlimited number of the sewing path. 2) User can modify the sewing path through the touch panel on the sewing machine.
